With the ocassion of the opening of the Shangai Expo, Nicolas and Carla visited China.
The couple visited the mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang and the Xian warriors, and toured the Forbidden City in Shangai. They were also present in Shangai to inaugurate the French pavillion of the Expo.
